Aluminum extruded rectangular tube with an internal hole having small grooves or fins for coolant flow. The internal grooved hole increases surface area by 27% compared to a 7/16” diameter drilled hole and adds turbulences to the fluid for better cooling. These bars can eliminate the need for costly and time-consuming deep hole or gun drilling.
Standard bar lengths are 3, 4, 6 & 8-foot long CB-1. single hole and 4 & 8 foot lengths for twin hole bars. The CB-2 (twin hole) has various styles of end caps for coolant input and exit or just tap the grooved hole for 1/4 NPT. All bars have ample room for mounting with a #10 bolt flat or counter bored head.
Some of the many uses of cooling bars are mold bases, water-cooled platens, conveyor assemblies, clamp bars or frames and plastic line bending machine.
